The Western Shamrock application process can begin online or in-branch but must be completed at one of our local branch locations. Basic information such as name, address, military status, employment history, references, loan amount requested, and residence information will be needed to begin your application. Applicants must be age 18 or older, and Western Shamrock cannot extend loans to military personnel or their dependents. Upon submission of online applications, your information is sent to the nearest branch where a representative will contact you within thirty minutes to ask further questions and run your credit. Our response rate to applications is quicker than most traditional lenders.
We base our loan decisions on an applicant’s debt-to-income ratio and credit history as well as employment and residency stability. If offered a loan over the phone, loan details and repayment plan will be determined in-branch upon signing the contract. Repayments are accepted in-person at any of our local branches in the form of cash, debit card, check, or money order.
