Job Description

WESTERN SHAMROCK CORPORATION is seeking a Generalist for our Human Resources Department. This position will assist the Human Resources Department and the Human Resources Manager in carrying out various Human Resources programs and procedures for all company employees and requires that candidates be flexible. We are looking for an individual who is efficient, comfortable being a member of a team, and can provide direct support to our HR Manager. The ability to multi-task and complete general administrative activities is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver, organized, articulate, self-motivated, outgoing, and has a strong desire to succeed. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • · Manage/support offices in relation to Human Resources
  • · Maintain all employee HR records
  • · Maintain time clock and employee time records

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability in training development and facilitation.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering positive relationships across all levels of the organization.

Job Type: Full-Time

 

Pay: $14.00 – $18.00 per hour

 

Ability to Relocate:

Qualifications

Work Hours

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
